Background to the European Union

Now that that the L6th have moved onto their examination timetable, attention turns squarely to the U6th and the finishing touches to their studies. Unit 4 has questions based on a "European Context" and as good a way to start on this is to have a look at the presentation found at

This is as good an introduction as there is. In parallel with this, I will look at Enlargement and the CAP as stand-alone topics over the next couple of weeks.

This will then give us a good lead-in to the final push.
